Mother’s Day Outings That Aren’t Brunch

Want to treat your mum for Mother’s Day, but haven’t quite decided what to do yet? Want to do something which is not your usual brunch or breakfast? Need some inspiration? Check out this list of awesome things to do!

Perth Zoo
9:00am – 5:00pm
Mums receive free entry into Perth Zoo on Mother’s Day, so why not take the family for a day out? Enjoy a stroll through the beautiful gardens and of course view the many unique animals on display. You could even prepare a delicious picnic to graze on while relaxing in one of the many park areas.

Swan River High Tea Cruise
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Imagine enjoying all the usual high tea treats, but while cruising along the beautiful Swan River! Tea and coffee is included and mum receives a complimentary glass of bubbly so you really can’t go wrong!

Mother’s Day Breakfast – with Koalas!
8:00am – 9:00am and 9:30am – 10:30am
The Maze Family Fun Park is offering a buffet style breakfast and a chance to meet their cute and cuddly koalas! You could also spend the rest of the day at the park playing mini golf and getting lost in the mazes.

Mother’s Day Jazz Cruise
2:00pm – 5:00pm
Does your mum love jazz? The Paddle Steamer Decoy is hosting a 3 hour cruise around the Swan River with live music from the Gumnut Stompers. Their musical preferences include the jazz greats Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Jellyroll Morton, but they have a vast repertoire of old favourites.

Mother’s Day Mini Yoga Retreat @ Restful Waters
10:00am – 12:00pm
Prefer to do something relaxing? Treat yourself and your mum to a 2 hour session of relaxing Vishrant yoga, gentle movement and guided meditation followed by tea and light refreshments.

Fremantle Grazing Cruise
11:00am – 2:00pm
Treat mum to a fantastic 3 hour cruise around Fremantle. Relax while taking in the spectacular views and indulging in treats from the grazing table. Entry also includes a glass of bubbles, so what are you waiting for?
